You can use the same utility call “Disk Utiltiy” from Mac OS X to erase/delete/format your CD-RW/DVD-RW without install any utility program.
How to delete or erase data on CD-RW/DVD-RW?
- On menu bar, click “Go”
- Then “Utility and then Double-click “Disk Utility”
- Insert CD-RW/DVD-RW
- Click select CD/DVD Drive on the left-hand side
- Choose how to erase “Quickly / Completely”
- Thec click “Erase”
